In 1855 Levi Strauss & Co (Levis) was founded, and four years later their first waist-overalls were brought out on the market. The garment was primarily adjusted to the adventurers of the gold rush, since there was a need for durable and cheap working clothes. Since then, Levis has grown to be the by far biggest manufacturer of jeans in the world. Recently Levis Jeans also launched their new concept Curve ID for women, that consists of 3 different fits that are designed to match all body shapes.
